Cheese & Wine

Cheese & Wine

Some info:
Stuff to Drink: Cheese & Wine are natural partners, they bring out the best in each other. There are no rules for a tasting party, so experiment! Suggestions are Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc. Remember to plan on one bottle of wine serving 3 people.
Stuff to Eat: Never underestimate the power of cheese. We’ll spare you the admin of having to find your fav. cheeses: why not try buttery Brie, smooth Havarti, slightly tart Provolone, nutty Asiago, robust Romano, savory Parmesan, rich, aged Cheddar, tangy, white Cheddar or smoked Cheddar. Serve the cheese at room temperature, removing it from the refrigerator up to two hours prior to guest arrival. If things get too cheesy, throw in some breads, fruits and nuts for variety.
Decorate with: Make Flag Markers with toothpicks to label the cheese; Provide a Placemat, Tasting Notes and pencils/pens for each guest; Present each cheese in a large wedge to display its natural beauty on a large plate, wooden board or piece of marble.
