Wine Walk Delvera to Warwick 2017

This fun walk from Delvera to Warwick where launched in April’17 and was enjoyed by all. We’d like to offer a monthly walk to our neighbouring farm, where we’ll do a tasting of their top class wines. Coffee & breakfast snack at registration and we’ll be back for lunch at Dirtopia Café. Bring good walking shoes, backpack with water, hat, snack (if you like), jacket and of course water bottle. This is a relaxed event with lots of socializing and so that you can enjoy the vineyards, wineland scenery and Stellenbosch outdoors! Ensure you book by the Friday before event weekend by 12h00 for catering purposes.
The Trail Centre will be open early for snacks and cold drink sales. Please note that any drinks before, during or after lunch is for your own account. Coffee and full bar available from Dirtopia Café. Credit card, cash, snapscan and zapper facilities available.
DATE: 2 July 2017
VENUE: Start and finish at Dirtopia Cafe, Delvera Farm, R44, Stellenbosch
TIME: For registration and coffee from 08h30, so that we can start the walk by 9h00 and will be back by 12h15 for lunch at Dirtopia Cafe
DISTANCE: Approximately 6km
COST: R225 per person. Kids U18 R150 and will receive juice instead of wine
INCLUDES: Food, wine, coffee, permit and marked route.

SCHEDULE:
08h30 – 09h15: Registration. You will receive an armband that will give you access to the route, wine tasting and food.
Please let us know at registration if you would like chicken or beef burger for lunch and on the side chips or salad.

09h00: First group will leave
09h15: Second group will leave
A short briefing will take place before you follow the marked route to Warwick.
10h00/10h15: Arrival at Warwick. Tasting of 4 Warwick wines. Kids will receive juice.
11h15: First group leaves back to Delvera
11h30: Second group leaves
12h00/12h30: Arrival back at Dirtopia Trail Centre. Lunch will be served shortly after arrival, buffet style.
