Fast Food Rockers: It’s never easy being cheesy

Possibly the best thing about this album is that those who made it certainly had no pretensions about its content – the title says it all. Emerging out of the U.K. where fast food has been popular for some time now, it was inevitable that someone would find a gap in the market and make some songs about the industry. No doubt a favorite for many lovers of hamburgers will be the immortal ‘fast food song’ that, if nothing else will help the listener break into a somewhat equivocal smile.

Reminiscent of groups such as Aqua, Fast Food Rockers just don’t seem to have the same (cough cough) versatility and after the first four songs the album, believe it or not, becomes extremely repetitive. But its not all bad, as many fast food chains may need someone who can serve hamburgers and sing at the same time. Maybe that was their intention all along.
