Ghosts of the Old Somerset Hospital

The oldest hospital in South Africa is haunted by many ghosts: a man who hanged himself and another man singing songs by Schubert, an Indian man walks in a ward and a girl combs her hair on the steps of the nursing home. The ghost of “Florence Nightingale of South Africa” – Sister Henrietta Stockdale – is seen in the hospital room where she slept, on the stairs and in the wards and passages.
