Renowned London chef, Henry Vigar has opened his first venture in Cape Town’s colourful and lively Seapoint area. La Mouette is a modern French restaurant with a Mediterranean flair exhibiting his culinary skills obtained though years of training in the south of France and working in various UK based Michelin starred kitchens.

Henry reflects his passion for French cooking by using classic techniques and combining them with locally sourced produce to create a finer dining experience. Henry along with Team La Mouette takes great pride in the matching of food and wine and their philosophy is food with integrity and consistency. Taking care to use only local ingredients, Henry, the chef patron of this unique Cape Town restaurant, sources all the ingredients himself to ensure only the finest make it onto his menu.

Team La Mouette has travelled far and wide through the wine lands sampling and tasting all the wines on their wine list to compliment Henry’s food without exception.
