The Picnic Festival is for the whole family.
The first PICNIC FESTIVAL will be held on the beautiful Bien Donné Farm in Simondium, between Paarl and Franschhoek on 24-26 February 2006.
Visitors will relax and linger on the large lawns surrounded by oak trees, spent quality time with family and friends and enjoy the live background music performed by local artists. Visitors will purchase their picnic bites and goodies from the food and wine stalls.
The stalls include fine establishments such as De Volkskombuis Restaurant, Spier Deli, Boschendal, Zest Gourmet Foods, Pesto Princess, Ceres Fruit Juices, Simonsig Family Vineyards, Ashanti Wine Estate, Eikendal Vineyards, Vrede en Lust, Rietvallei and many others.
The organizers welcome exhibitors of food, wine and beverages, arts and crafts, outdoor adventure and camping products and any other related products.
The Picnic Festival is for the whole family and will run over 3 days, Friday 24, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 February 2006 . Open daily from 11:00 - 20:00 . Close at 18:00 on Sunday.
Tickets are available from the gates, Computicket and Shoprite Checkers at R45.00 per person. Kids 12 & under enter for free. You can buy tickets on-line at www.computicket.co.za Buy your tickets before the festival to avoid any queues.
No Food or Alcohol will be admitted at the gate.
