In celebration of National Tourism Month, Plettenberg Bay have extended their annual Whiskey, Whales and Jazz spectacular to a week-long festival from 20-28 September. The natural beauty of Bitou has attracted some of the top musicians in the country representing an accessible, yet cutting-edge musical fusion of jazz with world music and a uniquely South African flavour.

The jam-packed festival calendar features sizzling hot jazz, whiskey tastings in the finest local venues as well as spectacular whale sightings guaranteed to create an unforgettable holiday experience. The festival highlight is the Heritage Jazz Concert on Saturday, 27 September. Don't miss top talent fresh off international jazz stages for an electric combination of eclectic classic and contemporary jazz intertwined with the unmistakable rhythms of Africa.

The more adventurous can look forward to the second edition of the Robberg Express Challenge. This multi-sport event traverses some of the most spectacular natural landscapes of the Southern Cape and consists of a mountain bike section, a magnificent trail run in the Robberg Marine and Coastal Reserve and an ocean paddle in the beautiful bay.
