Feature Article - Kfm 94.5 NEW YEAR'S EVE CONCERT AT KIRSTENBOSCH: FRESHLYGROUND & JAMES STEWART
Get into the New Year groove with Cape Town singer/songwriter James Stewart and Afro-popsters Freshlyground at the Kfm 94.5 New Year's Eve concert in association with Drostdy-Hof at Kirstenbosch on Sunday, 31 December 2006.
Fresh from their European tour and their award for Best African Act at the recent MTV Europe Music Awards and with their latest album 'Nomvula' going platinum and being released throughout the UK and Europe, Freshlyground is undoubtedly South Africa’s hottest band of the moment.
James Stewart will get the crowd warmed up from 20:30 with Freshlyground taking over from 22:00 to midnight. The former lead singer of the chart-topping pop-rock band The Usual, James Stewart recently released his debut solo album 'A man like me'.
Booking for this concert is essential (booking will close once 5 000 tickets have been sold). Seating is unreserved and on the lawn.
