| Directed by Sebastian Guile, who has performed in shows such as Rock Evolution, 62278, Piano Boys and That 80s Show, this musical show sets the stage alight with the greatest hits all the way from the masters like Carlos Santana, to modern-day Latina divas like Shakira.
Sebastian, who can be seen playing drums in this show, is joined on stage by his two brothers, Jason Guile on Bass guitar (who directed the highly successful show, Rock Evolution) and Matthew Guile who is one of Cape Town's hottest rising guitarists.
Fronting this show are vocalists, sultry Nadine Sisam and the dynamic Paul Morrissey who doubles up on keyboards. Latin Heat also includes the multi-talented Bronwen Clacherty, who was recently awarded the Best Instrumentalist prize at the UCT South African College of Music. She can be seen playing percussion and keyboards.
"We aim to cater to a wide variety of people with this show, which is why we have also included songs by contemporary artists which have been influenced by Latin culture; I have put a lot of energy into producing an excellent show
and audiences are guaranteed a quality night of entertainment." says Sebastian.
Baran's Theatre Restaurant on Greenmarket Square offers its patrons a truly individual experience, with fine Kurdish –style opulence and a delicious three-course buffet, amongst other treats. All food at Baran's is prepared in Halaal. There is ample parking with security, and lifts for disabled people.
Be sure not to miss Latin Heat. Tickets are R150 including a three-course Mediterranean buffet. For schools, corporate and block-bookings, charities and fundraisers call 021 426 4466. The show begins at 8.30pm. For more information or to book, call 021 426 4466 or visit www.barans.co.za |
