producer an enviable reputation locally and internationally. A mixture of Afro pop, R&B and reggae has seen this group backing Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Paul Simon, Lucky Dube and Tina Turner. Expect to enjoy some of their own compositions on newly released album 'New Flame' which sports a first - an Afrikaans track done with Theuns Jordaan cheekily entitled 'Wie Se Kind Is Jy?' as well as a Jewish track called 'Raksmor' sung entirely in Hebrew.
One of the most exciting live electronica acts in the world right now is Goldfish. Two jazz musos hook up while studying music at varsity, and form a live electronic duo. They are Dominic Peters and David Poole, the unassuming surfer/jazz muso/electronic maniacs who are Goldfish. They recorded an album themselves with little more than a double bass, a saxophone and a couple of synthesizers. This selfreleased 'Underground' album, 'Caught in the loop', went on to propel them into the stratosphere, with a cultlike following and numerous number ones in South Africa.
You couldn't find two guys more passionate about music, and their live shows are testament to that. Alongside Dr Victor and the Rasta Rebels, this New Year’s Eve concert will be memorable.
