Goldfish, Cape Town 's funky musical duo with musicians David Poole and Dominic Peters, plunges into World Beats at Rhodes House with the spontaneous fluidity of Jazz and thumping dance beats at the Millers Live party on Saturday, 11 June. DJ Nick Matthews from Iridium Project and Maurice on live bass guitar add electronic flavour in the cigar lounge.
Go with the tuneful flow as Dave and Dom explore the dark depths of electronic music production with samplers, a groove box, keyboards, downright funky upright Bass and saxophones. Look out for the legendary "D-BEAM", an invisible infra-red beam, which allows them to control the electronic music with the wave of a hand in mid-air! The striking use of instruments such as the Stick Bass (looks like a double bass on diet) and the Curved Soprano Sax combine to create awesome music and an extremely exciting visual performance.
