Rock band Foreigner will be celebrating their 30th anniversary with a
bigger, more powerful and explosive concert for their Capetonian fans on
Friday, 23 November at GrandWest´s arena.

During the past 18 months Foreigner did 200 shows in 20 countries on four continents, visiting places that the band has never played before, attracting critical acclaim.
Throughout the 70's and 80's, Foreigner were universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world, racking up scores of smash hits, multi-platinum albums, and sold out concert tours. From "Cold As Ice" to "Hot Blooded," "Urgent" to "Jukebox Hero," "Waiting For A Girl Like You" to the chart topper "I Want To Know What Love is", Foreigner's mix of blustery blues and crafted pop still continues to attract fans. Since the band first formed in 1976, Foreigner has sold over 70-million albums worldwide.
Other notches on their belt include being the first US act on Atlantic Records to exceed sales of one million, raking up seven multi-platinum albums, 16 top 20 singles, more than 10 top ten singles and eight top five hits.
