2006 will see the 29th running of one of South Africa 's most prestigious horseracing events - the J&B Met.
A highlight on the horse racing and social calendar, the event epitomizes the glamour, sophistication and glitz of the Cape Town society.
Cape Town 's biggest horse racing event will expect to attract a record crowd of 50000 as in previous years.
In addition to the on stage activites during the day various buskers will provide entertainment on the lawns and picnic areas. These include Stilt Walkers, Acrobats, Mime artists and dancers.

The party, located behind the J&B Met Hospitallity Village will sport a custom open-air dance floor, with Roger Goode broadcasting the 5fm Saturday Surgery show live from 18h00. The DJ line up including Dino Moran and Ben Kay will have the party rocking till late.
A state of the art custom sound rig, intelligent lighting rig, VJ graphics, Bedouin-covered bars and top security will ensure your enjoyment comfort and safety.
