The natural healing arts have been with us for ages, and can often be very powerful. They engage and support our body's Innate Wisdom. We need to pay attention to what helps us keep in balance, especially in these times of high stress living, immune breakdown, and pollution. If your body-mind-spirit responds to something you read - then listen! It may be trying to tell you something important!
This lifestyle section includes a unique list of local companies to help you heal, relax, rejuvenate and refresh your mind. We host carefully selected local practitioners who are waiting to answer your specific questions and offer educated self help or other informed suggestions and other exciting physical experiences for those who like adventure or maybe a little pampering every so often. So search and enjoy the links from the team at stufftodo.

The men of Cape Town are being called to participate in a playful awareness month to highlight health issues specific to men, and raise money for The Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA), simply by growing their moustaches during the month of November 2008!
The month will end in a grass bowling event at The Fresnaye Bowling Club where four-balls will theme their look and compete for a Movember Trophy. The event will be open to supporters and will offer food and entertainment.
Leading up to the month of November, men can register themselves in teams of four on www. mo-vember.co.za. Starting with a clean-shaven face on 1 November, the teams then start to grow, shape and style their mo’s (moustache’s) throughout the month of November. During this time, the teams will ask people to sponsor them, by making donations to CANSA on their behalf, through a secure link on www.mo-vember.co.za
Women can become involved by supporting the men through donations, but also by showing some love for their man-with-a-mo for the month. Women are encouraged to pose with their mo-bearing men and send in pictures to be posted on the site. The site will also act as a support portal with mo-tivation, growing tips, mo-hair care and more. T-shirts for mo-growers and supporters will be available for purchase.
Movember is an excellent opportunity for groups of friends and corporate teams to quell their curiosity about how they would look sporting a moustache. Of course, the Movember Campaign also highlights a much needed awareness about men's cancers, their prevention, detection and treatment.
