This is the kind of album that makes one feel good to be South African. It says a lot for the S.A. music industry in that we are producing some top quality stars. Not that Mapaputsi is new to all this – his popularity speaks for itself.
Kicking off with Woza Friday (a song that has found airtime on most prime radio stations nationwide) the album moves onto an equally imppressive Manga Manga Business. The melodious piano rythms gel nicely with the kwaito lyrics. With this album Mapaputsi should feel firmly entrenched in the S.A. music scene, with hopefully many more to come. |
