Pirats of the Caribbean, Dead man chest (soundtrack)

Some info:
The soundtrack to the first movie gave critics a field day – some praised the modern rock sounds of a period adventure film, others slammed it for the same reason. For the second movie, Hans Zimmer steps up to the plate once again – this time using more of the orchestra while at the same time not losing the modern sound. Most of the score is new, but a few bits from the old soundtrack pops up now and again. The sounds are quite different from the first movie soundtrack, this time it has more emotion to it. How well the score is represented on the CD is debatable as the original score is over 2 hours long, but only 50 minutes of music is available on the soundtrack. Nevertheless, with a variety from waltzes to jig, orchestral action to electronic mayhem, there should be something for everyone.
Music Type: experimantel, instrumental, modern
