Some info: |
This is a super chill place with lots to do. Rafiki’s (Swahili for friend) was originally a backpacker’s and still maintains a lot of that funky vibe. Winter nights in front of the fire place! It’s a Cape Town institution where you’ll see people on different missions enjoying a drink on the balcony, listening to one of the many live acts or just having a meal. The best part is that everyone fits in, whether you’re dressed up for dinner or just drinking with buddies fresh from the beach. Keep centrally-located Rafiki’s in mind for the start, end or middle of any trip out of the house. Their pizzas are renowned and there’s something for everyone on the extensive menu.
Soccer fans are in heaven when they come to watch games at Rafiki’s: there are no fewer than six big-screen TVs positioned throughout Rafiki’s, and they show all the major games. The atmosphere is always festive, and apart from actually being at the game, this is the best way to watch the game! This will be a great spot to watch 2010 World Cup games in Cape Town . A little heads up on what to expect at Rafikis during June & July this year. Its right round the Flippin’ corner! We will be airing all the games of course on all the6 big screens. Each section of Rafikis is equipped with sound and screen, so even when there are 2 games on at the same time we can accommodate.
