Slikour – Ventilation mix tape. Vol 1

This is Slikour – one of the key founding members of Skwatta Kamp – releasing his debut solo album Ventilation Mixtape Volume 1”. This is not the end of Skwatta Kamp – just the beginning of Slik’s solo career. There has never been a local HipHop group that influenced the musical landscape in South Africa as rapidly as Skwatta Kamp did. Now Slikour is ready to face the world as a solo artist with his debut album Ventilation Mixtape Vol 1 . Slikour has had the opportunity of touring throughout Africa and sharing stages with the likes of U.S. HipHop Ludacris, Will Smith, Talib Kweli, Black Thought, Kabelo and Malaika…to mention just a few. The album Ventilation Mixtape Vol 1 is layered with juicy basslines and laid back flows, party anthems and streets with joints including underground songs to keep the HipHop die-hards and heads satisfied. The album includes some of HipHop’s freshest and most influential entertainers such as Proverb, Jevega, Nkuli, Pro-Kid, INFA & Flabba (Skwatta Kamp), MY MAN, Hidden Force, David Kau, Pabi Moloi (MetroFM), Mpho (YFM), Black Rabbit, Mr Selwyn, Wicked and Amu. Slikour has found a way to blend street music with commercial savvy acquired through his experiences with Skwatta Kamp.
