Soda Schnapps & Soda Tonic

Soda Schnapps & Soda Tonic

Some info:
The two disc compilation Soda Schnapps and Soda Tonic are both mixed by Steve SoRel and each contains a mixture of songs that appeal to both hardcore fans of club music as well as more commercial music lovers. Describing his sound as a provocative and decadent mix of house music, it has enabled him to work alongside some of SA’s biggest names.

Soda Tonic – The first disc of the two disc compilation boasts hard-hitting funky bass lines and good melodies. Although not as impressive as the second album it still is a fabulous mix packed with the hottest house music releases. It includes Straigh Ahead by Tube and Berger featuring Chrissie Hynde, Studio B’s hit I See Girls and Vintagent’s cover of Deep Purple’s Smoke on the Water.

Soda Schnapps – This is the 2nd of the two new releases mixed by Steve SoRel. This compilation starts off in a very chilled fashion only to progress nicely into a full blown party album. It contains Lisa Shaw’s smash hit Let it Ride plus songs from Armand van Helden and Mousse T. The album contains fat bass lines all the way through making this one a lot more energetic than the first release.

Overall a good set of quality house tunes!
